My dad asked me to help him to figure out what color to paint the house. He wanted me to digitally paint it in Photoshop and, while I was at it, could I make it look a little sunnier and put down some lawn and add the shutters that he hadn't gotten up yet? After a few hours, I came up with this:
It looks like a different house. True, the shutters look a little fake (to me at least). But the grass came straight from the White House. No joke, I stole that piece of lawn from a vacation photo I had from a few years back.
This is the color I think they should paint it, though it may end up being one of these instead:
It's really quite amazing what can be done in Photoshop!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the lighter brown color on the bottom left.
I really like the dark colored shutters also! Although, I would leave the top middle window with no shutters, cause it just seems a little too busy. (And it would help balance out the 3 little windows with no shutters on the far right).
OK.....so, that's my opinions! It will be fun to see how it turns out when it's all painted! :)
I kinda like the yellow primer. Maybe I don't have to paint the house?
ReplyDeleteNice work with the Photoshop. It really helps to see the different colors and to avoid that ghastly mistake of painting your entire house the wrong color!
