Weddings

I love weddings. Especially now that I'm married. How fun to get dressed up and celebrate the love of two special people. I'm incredibly happy living in my own newlywed bliss (almost six months!), but a small part of me thinks it's a shame that I don't get to plan any more wedding details.

I'm a planner at heart. I love that kind of stuff. I thrive on it. When you first start, it can be overwhelming. There are about a million things to decide on and to do. When? What colors? Which dress? What kind of flowers, cake, favors, decorations, etc. But if you pick a theme, come up with a clear budget, and utilize some good help, the planning can be fun.

My favorite part, of course, is the printed stuff. Save the date cards, invitations, reply cards, programs, menus, table numbers, place cards, favors, thank yous, etc. I had them all and they were unique to us and coordinated beautifully, but my head is full of other themes and ideas. I love to help brides plan their printed wedding materials. It's the first thing your guests will see (save the dates and invitations) and the last thing they'll see (thank you cards), so it really rounds out whatever theme you choose.

So spread the word. If you know someone who is getting married, let them know that I'd love to help...whether their theme is little birds, bold shapes or even buccaneers! Almost anything is possible.
